My wife and I did a quick overnighter in our local-ish State Conservation Area. I got to test out my new gimbal head and levelling base with some birds hanging out near out campsite. It'll definitely be a learning curve, but I can already see how helpful the gimbal head will be for longer 'perches' where I stay in one spot for a while.
